Set in a sensational location, the d'Urville Island Wilderness Café offers one of the finest waterfront dining experiences in New Zealand where you will enjoy the hospitality of Manager Robyn McCorkindale. Enjoy the magnificent views of Catherine Cove and surrounding native bush and wildlife whether dining inside or alfresco on the outside deck. 

 

Our menu is ever changing and designed around fresh seasonal produce - where possible, this is handpicked from our own cafe gardens.

 

Head Chef and Manager, Aaron McCorkindale is a keen fisherman but his true passion is food.  Some of the seasonal seafood you can expect on the menu include salmon, mussels, crayfish, snapper, oysters and scallops.  From the land is New Zealand's best beef and lamb, venison and wild pork.

 

To compliment the menu, we have a wine list which features a well balanced selection from the world famous Marlborough vineyards.  Talk nicely to Aaron and he will share with you his cellar wine list with some well selected and cellared wines from throughout New Zealand.
